A Temple Beth Hillel Wedding Rooted in Community, Heritage, and Intentional Design
A Temple Beth Hilel wedding always carries a strong sense of community, and Michelle and Evan’s day illustrated that beautifully.

How It All Began
Michelle reached out after a referral from one of her bridesmaids, (referrals are my favorite way to meet new couples). From our first conversation, she and Evan were clear, thoughtful, and intentional about what they wanted. They value their temple deeply, and because Michelle is so involved there, choosing Temple Beth Hillel in Los Angeles for both the ceremony and reception wasn’t just a venue choice, it was part of their story.

The Morning at the Temple
Los Angeles gave us crisp, bright sunshine, the kind that makes everything feel clean and calm. When I arrived, the temple was already filled with familiar faces greeting each other, and that set the tone for the entire day. It felt like stepping into a space where everyone already knew they belonged.
Working with 3 Little Birds Event Planning was a highlight. Their team kept the day running seamlessly, communicated clearly, and created an environment where every vendor could focus on doing their best work.

Designing a Meaningful Space
The floral direction centered around eucalyptus greens with blush and white blooms: soft, fresh, and tailored to the temple’s natural aesthetic.
The birch chuppah became the focal point of the ceremony. During our planning, I suggested draping greenery across the structure with floral clusters on the four front corners, then adding greenery clouds on the back corners to create depth and dimension. This small shift made the chuppah feel layered and intentional rather than flat, and it complemented the texture of the birch wood perfectly.

The Ceremony
Once everyone settled into their seats, the energy in the room felt grounded and familiar. Watching the temple staff work throughout the day stood out, they treated Michelle and Evan with genuine care and moved through each part of the ceremony with warmth and professionalism. Seeing how supported they were by their community was one of my favorite parts of the day.

The Reception
With the ceremony complete, guests moved directly into the reception space. The eucalyptus, blush, and white palette carried through to the tables and surrounding areas, keeping everything cohesive with the ceremony design. The floral elements didn’t compete with the space, they enhanced the parts of the temple that already mean so much to the couple and their families.

Why This Day Stays With Me
There was nothing generic about this wedding. It reflected who Michelle and Evan are, the place that shaped them, and the people who show up for them. It also reminded me why referrals mean so much! They come from couples, vendors, or other clients who truly know my work and trust me enough to share my name with the people they love.

Q: What areas do you serve?
A: I’m based in Long Beach but serve all of Southern California: from Los Angeles to Orange County to wine country and beyond.
Q: Do you offer a la carte options?
A: Absolutely! I have a la carte services for couples who want gorgeous flowers without the full-service experience, perfect for elopements or budget-conscious weddings.
