Hi, I’m Melissa, the Long Beach florist behind Flowers by Melis. I may be based in Long Beach, CA, but I proudly serve couples and clients all across Southern California.

My style is rooted in whimsical, garden-forward design with a fresh, modern twist. I love creating floral moments that feel intentional, romantic, and beautifully tailored to each couple, whether you’re planning an intimate elopement, a bold Los Angeles celebration, or a refined Orange County wedding.

I’ve spent over 15 years designing, studying, and obsessing over flowers. From classical training from a London based floral school, to flowering tons of weddings here in Southern California, I bring a hands-on, personal approach to every event. I take on only one wedding per day so my clients get my full attention: no juggling, no chaos, just thoughtful, elevated floral design.
