Ciara & Pedro’s Minimal, Funky Wedding Florals in Long Beach, CA

You know those couples who walk into your inbox and you instantly think, “Wait… are they secretly famous?”
Yeah. That was Ciara and Pedro.

From the moment they reached out, their vibe was clear: minimal, funky, fun, and absolutely not the standard cookie-cutter wedding florals you’ve seen a million times on Pinterest. As a Long Beach florist who loves designing creative weddings across Southern California, I was already obsessed.

Their color palette? Greens. Whites. And the boldest little pop of plum/pink, just enough to make the whole design feel intentional. I also added playful textures and fresh details like honeydew melon, limes, green grapes, pears, and figs, which brought a little extra luxe and whimsy to the tables. Honestly, designing for them felt like a backstage pass to a Vogue photoshoot. They were giving “stylized celeb couple,” and I almost wanted their autograph.

Both their ceremony and reception were held at my favorite intimate venue in Long Beach, Heritage Farm, which provided the perfect backdrop for their editorial, modern style. The space’s cozy, elegant vibe paired beautifully with the minimal, funky florals we created.

Minimal, Funky, and Modern Wedding Flowers in Long Beach, CA

Ciara and Pedro wanted florals that felt:

  • minimal but not boring

  • modern but still romantic

  • playful without being chaotic

  • and just funky enough to feel like them

Basically, my dream as a SoCal wedding florist and Long Beach, CA wedding florist.

We focused on sculptural shapes, clean lines, and airy movement. Crisp greenery, white blooms with attitude, and pops of plummy pink created a fresh, fun, and whimsical feel, perfectly capturing their personality.

When I saw the gallery from Picsbycamjae, I literally did a double-take. The gallery looked straight out of Vogue: cinematic, editorial, and totally swoon-worthy. Every detail of the florals, including the subtle pops of plummy pink and the mini art sculpture accents like honeydew melon, limes, grapes, and figs, came to life.

As a Los Angeles wedding florist and Orange County wedding florist, it’s incredible to see florals translated into art like this. The clean, modern aesthetic, combined with playful details, perfectly showcased the couple’s vibe: minimal, funky, and unforgettable.

FAQ: Wedding Florist Questions You Were Totally Going to Google Later

A: Ideally, 6–12 months before your wedding. For full-service florals, the sooner the better — especially during peak SoCal wedding season (spring/fall).

Q: Do you offer mock-ups?
A: Yes! Mock-up centerpiece sessions start at $250 and are a great way to preview your design direction, especially if you’re visual and want that extra peace of mind.

Q: What areas do you serve?
A: I’m based in Long Beach but serve all of Southern California: from Los Angeles to Orange County to wine country and beyond.

Q: Do you offer a la carte options?
A: Absolutely! I have a la carte services for couples who want gorgeous flowers without the full-service experience, perfect for elopements or budget-conscious weddings.

Q: What’s your floral style?
A: My style is whimsical, unique, and full of personality, a mix of creative flair and bold romance. I love designing florals that feel magical, meaningful, and totally custom to each couple.

Q: Do you work with specific venues or planners?
A: Yes! I love collaborating with planners and venues across SoCal. If you’re already working with someone, I’m happy to integrate seamlessly into your vendor team.
